My goal is not only to make this article a reference for anyone who wants to work as a Google AdSense publisher, but I will also make you understand the idea in the first place.

My goal is to make you start your way as a conscious publisher and aware of everything that surrounds the topic, also those who are already working as publishers at Google AdSense will find in this article something new and useful.

Note: I write this article for anyone who is serious, and can provide value to visitors to his site, I write only for those who intend to respect Google's policies and take it as a reference in everything related to his account.

What is Google AdSense?

Google AdSense is an advertising company affiliated with Google, by subscribing to it you can as a publisher (site owner) make profits, by placing ads on this site.

In order to understand the idea more deeply, we had to address the definition of Google AdWords ( known as Google ads):

Google Ads is a subsidiary of Google, through which every marketer or advertising advertiser has to get visitors for any marketing purpose, Google ads represent the flip side of Google AdSense.

In fact, Google acts as an advertising intermediary between an advertiser who wants to get visitors, and a publisher who wants to make a profit by placing these ads on their own site.

This is of course through a very smart targeting system, so that ads appear on your site that is compatible with, or relevant to, the content you provide on this site.

The company that organizes the process of buying visitors from Google is called Google ads, and the company that organizes the process of placing these ads on the sites shared in this system is called Google Adsense, and this is the one that will deal with it as a publisher.

In fact, Google's advertising exchange system is not limited to Google AdSense and Google Ads, but here I address the topic from the angles that serve our topic of profit from Google AdSense, by owning a website.

What do you need to start earning from AdSense?

1. A good website idea

You have to choose a website idea that matches your personal interests, this is in case you are going to write the content yourself.

If you are going to use others, ensure that you have a continuous source of content for your site.

You also have to choose the idea of a site that has a request from the public, you can use the Google tool to find out the search rate on the keywords that your site will address.

2. Buy hosting and domain name

There are a lot of options at this stage, and it suits all cases, if you do not have enough material revenue to buy a hosting and domain name paid, you should initially just blogger.

If you have money to invest, you should buy a paid hosting and choose a domain name for your site.

3. Creating a website

This option is based on the previous option, if you choose blogger, it is an integrated tool for creating a website. If your choice is to create a site through a paid hosting and domain name, you should refer to the two topics below:

How to create a website (you will find all the information and important points for creating a professional website)
Steps to create a WordPress site (you will find a simple and easy practical explanation and illustrations of how to create a WordPress site)
I will assume here that you chose WordPress, as a tool for creating your site.

4. Create good, useful and exclusive content for your site

Here we are not talking about the content just to complete the profit factors of AdSense, but we are talking about content that offers real value to your visitors, exclusive content that does not violate Google's policies and is constantly renewed.

5. Fill out the application form in Google AdSense

We will explain it in detail a little later.

6. Start placing AdSense codes in the right places on your site to start taking profits.

We will explain this point shortly as well.

Specifications of the site that is accepted in Google AdSense

I will outline a set of criteria that should apply to your site before you start registering for Google AdSense.
In order to be accepted into the Google AdSense program, make sure that you have a site to which the following applies:

1. A site that features exclusive, valuable content and complies with Google AdSense policies

You have to provide something that really benefits your visitors, and in this way, you will get visitors to your site on the one hand, and the other hand, this is what Google puts as a priority in measuring quality in all the services provided, including Google AdSense of course.

You also have to create content that complies with Google AdSense policies, as there are some types of content that are prohibited from being accepted to participate in Google AdSense.

In quantitative terms, many are wondering how many articles are required to apply for Google AdSense.

This question does not have a definitive answer, but it is preferable that your site has a good number of articles, say not less than 30, but remember that this element works with the rest of the elements, and can not be relied on independently.

2. A site that is well designed and easy for the visitor

The visitor must have good experience in handling your site, in order to be accepted into AdSense, this includes a good design, is simple and is compatible with all devices.

Also, the pages of your site should be linked together to make it easier for the visitor to move between the pages of the site.

3. A site that has administrative pages that serve the visitor

Your site should have the administrative pages that the visitor needs, which represent the official interface or image of your site.

This is a list of administrative pages that should be on your site:

Contact Us page: This serves the user directly when he wants to contact the administration of the site.

Terms and Conditions page: which explains to the visitor what to follow when using your site

Privacy Policy page: which explains to the visitor how the site deals with its data, it is worth mentioning here that you must indicate in this document that you are working as a publisher with Google AdSense, and your site contains ads affiliated with Google.

Page about the site: which contains the story of the creation of the site and the objectives that it seeks to achieve, through the content provided.

If you feel a little confused about these pages, don't worry, the Contact Us page you can get by adding WordPress as a simple Contact Form 7.

As for a page about the site, you do not have to write it, only the answer to the question " Why did you create this site?""And the goals you want to achieve for your visitors.

The terms and conditions and Privacy Policy page is a semi-static form, and most sites use it with some changes depending on the conditions of the site.

4. A site that gets a good number of visitors

In order for Google to accept your site to participate in the AdSense program, it must have a good number of visitors every day.
This of course depends on the quality of the content on the one hand, and on your marketing plan to get visitors on the other.

Steps to register in Google AdSense

Now that you know the most important criteria for accepting sites in Google AdSense, and confirmed that these criteria already apply to your site, so let's start explaining the steps of registration in Google AdSense.

You can refer to your web developer to do this step (tell him that you want to put code inside the code of the site, specifically between the<head> and</head>tags.

If you are using WordPress, follow these steps:

  1. When you enter the control panel of your WordPress site, go to tab appearance and then to widgets.
  2. On the widget page, make a text widget in the article pages in the sidebar area.
  3. You can do this by dragging the text widget, and inserting it in the place intended to appear on the pages of articles.
  4. Put AdSense code in the custom widget box and press Save.

Now go back to your Adsense account, flag in front of the phrase “I pasted the code in my site” as shown in the image above, and then click the Done button below.

Google AdSense will review your site and send your Gmail approval message if it complies with Google terms, or a rejection message will be sent with the reason for the rejection.

This is a bit like advertising that is under the hydrant, but less significant.

This also belongs to native ads, be proportionate and display the content of the article and can control its form relatively.

It is worth mentioning that there are companies that specialize in this type of advertising, which are called Rea companies.

Note: If you're using a WordPress responsive template for all screen sizes, you need to adjust the ads so that they're also responsive.

Explanation of Google AdSense ad types

will explain the types of ads that Google AdSense offers you so that you can choose from them to place on your site.

It is worth noting here that not all sites participating in AdSense, are allowed to use this type of advertising.

Then click my sites and then click., you should find a green checkmark in front of your site name on this page with your account.

This is a different and new type of advertising that can be used for all pages of the site in general, but is intended for mobile visitors only, and appears according to a special formula determined by Google AdSense based on the experience of each individual visitor.

To activate it, copy the code and place it in a text widget, in the same way as the new AdSense account activation code.

There are a lot of types of advertising that fall under it, the most important of which are:

4. Working as a partner with Google AdSense like any other business, it depends on experience and experience, so do not stop at the level of your profits is not appropriate and the level of your effort, you have to try and continue and develop your experience and information and your profits will improve.

7. Profits are calculated either based on clicks on ads, or based on impression (i.e. visiting the page where the ad is located and seeing it), so you will find in your account two types of profits, one based on clicks, and the other based on impression.

8. There are a lot of ways to place ad units on your site, and this basically depends on the way your site was created.
If you are using WordPress, these are the most important ways to place ad units:

Through the template (there are a lot of WordPress templates that come with a lot of features to place and manage ad units for bad sense).

What is the profit rate of Google AdSense?

The rate of profit from Google AdSense depends on a lot of factors, here I will list the main ones:

1. The niche of your site

We mentioned earlier, that there is a targeting system followed by Google in placing ads on your site so that the ads fit with the content of your site, and of course, the click price varies from ad to ad by domain.

2. Number of visitors to your site

This is an obvious point but we have to mention it here for its importance, it is obvious that the visitor element is a pivotal element to making a profit from AdSense, so you find a lot of AdSense publishers rely primarily on AdSense arbitrage to achieve maximum rate with profit.

3. Quality of content on your site

This results in the average time a visitor stays on the site, which increases the chance of more ads appearing in front of him.

4. Locations of ads

This is an organizational process that depends on the design of the site and the nature of the visitors, and the nature of the content on the site as well.

5. Number of ad units per page within the site

There are some schools that say that often, the effectiveness of 3 ad units per page is better than the effectiveness of 5 ad units.

6. Geographical distribution of your visitors

The Kuwaiti visitor's click on an AdSense ad is different from the Egyptian visitor's click on the same ad.

7. The nature of your visitors

In terms of being male or female, their average age, interest, and level of education, all of this of course relates to the field you are talking about on your site.

8. Your use of the Allow & Block Ads

This is a feature provided by Google AdSense to publishers, through which you can block certain ads from appearing on your site. If you can block ads that pay less or are not suitable for your visitors, and instead show ads that pay more or are more relevant to your content, it will increase your revenue.

9. Percentage of clicks from total page views with the CTR

Ratio CTR or Click Through Rate: shall mean the ratio of clicks obtained by the ad units to the proportion of the total views for images and the ads.

This percentage is not constant, It depends on many factors, including the length of the visitor's stay on the page, including the relationship between the ad and the content of the page, but in general, this percentage varies on average between 1 and 3 per cent.

In the end, to give you an answer in numbers, the click price in Arabic content ranges from 2 cents to 6 cents (this is the average click price, which is influenced by all the factors I mentioned above).

An illustrative and practical example to answer the question of how much to earn from AdSense:

You have a site that talks about the world of fashion and gets 10 thousand views for its total pages every day.

The CTR rate for your site is 3%.

The average click price for your site is 4 cents.

Based on these data, your total monthly earnings= total daily views of your pages multiplied by the ratio CTR + multiplied by the average click price multiplied by the number of days of the month (30 days).

Applying this equation to our example, the total monthly profits of the site will be: 10000*0.03* 0.04 *30= 360 dollar

Note: This is a rough example to illustrate the idea, but in fact, the results vary according to many variables, even sites that talk about the same domain and get the same visitors can achieve slightly different results, depending on other factors such as the quality of content or where ads appear. etc.

Here we have come to the end of our topic about profit from Google AdSense. I hope the topic is of interest to you and helps you understand Google AdSense and how to profit from it well.
